So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord,
continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him,
strengthened in the faith as you were taught,
and overflowing with thankfulness.
— Col 2:6 - 7

We seek to provide ways for you at St George's to develop firm foundations through exploring discipleship, the Bible and theology. We offer a wide range of training opportunities:

The St George's Internship is a one year scheme designed to equip people for life, work and leadership. Our aim is to raise up Christians who will lead others, witness and influence their workplace, and be lifelong disciples of Jesus.

Our priority is to help interns grow in relationship with God. Each internship involves leadership experience; training in biblical studies, theology and leadership; developing transferable work skills; and an opportunity to consider God’s calling for the future. Interns have gone on to employment in a variety of spheres, some go on to work for churches or ordination. Our hope is that the internship will establish learning, habits and disciplines that help interns be transformed daily by the power of the Holy Spirit to be more like Christ. Leaders who will serve the Kingdom of God in all areas of life, from business, politics, media, education and medicine as well as leading churches across the country and beyond.

St George’s will provide housing and cover utility costs. We look for Interns to raise their living expenses but some bursaries are available.
