Network Sunday: West Park Wanderers

westparkJack & Lucy // Leaders of West Park WanderersLucy shares some thoughts on Network Sunday.

What did West Park Wanderers get up to for Network Sunday? We walked at Otley Chevin stopping to take in the amazing views along the way before returning to Leeds for a bring a share lunch that was an epic feast! We are really blessed with some amazing cooks in our Network. Sharing the afternoon together, gave us chance to chat, deepening our relationships with one another and to discuss all sorts of issues.

"Being able to regularly share life... "encourages me to be bold and distinctive for Christ."

How is your Network equipping you for your walk with Jesus? Being able to regularly share life with Christians who are facing similar challenges of living out faith in the workplace helps keep me accountable and encourages me to be bold and distinctive for Christ. I know that I can seek wise counsel and prayer from the people in the Network and that  they will help me to fix my eyes back to Jesus.

"For me God answered prayers and gave me perspective on decisions I was trying to make."

Can you tell us a story of God changing lives in and around your Network? At a previous event we spent time praying for and encouraging one another for the month ahead. God really used each member of the Network to bless and strengthen each one of us. For me God answered prayers and gave me a clearer perspective on decisions I was trying to make.

What can StG's pray for West Park Wanderers? Some of our Network recently shared a stirring to reach out to those who might be more isolated in the older generation; both connected to church and within the local community. Please pray for us as we look to see how we could serve together as a Network, pray that we will be open to Gods promptings and that we can be a blessing to others.
