Roots: Glo Party

On Friday 26 October Roots held their annual Glo party, celebrating light over darkness during the Halloween season.  It’s a great chance for young people to dress up, play games and invite friends to celebrate. We had 24 young people come to join us in celebrating light!  The evening was great fun, we had a computer game theme, dressing up as different computer game characters.  One young person even came as a computer!

We played giant ‘angry birds’, giant ‘cut the rope’ and even the retro game ‘minesweeper’.  After games we shared the great gospel of light encouraging the young people that they can be light in the world!

"It was a fantastic time for both the young people and the leaders as we grew as a community, sharing life together.  We are looking forward to putting on more fun events like this across the year." Lottie, Youth Pastor
