Oct/12: Mission Partners

Hugh and Heather Nelson: Japan

Heather and Hugh pastor a small Church in Izunokuni Shi, Japan. We thank God that, after many months of prayer, they have moved into a new building which is much more suitable for their needs. Between now and the end of the year five people from St George's are travelling to Japan in order to help teach and pastor at the church and to give Hugh a break.

October: TC Miller November: Andy and Lucy Eaves and Rob Denton December: Rob Denton and Paul Clegg

Please pray that the church will be inspired by the love and teaching of these five people; that Heather and Hugh will be richly blessed during this time of Sabbath opportunity; that the five visitors will learn more about God's calling on their lives; that this project will deepen the relationship between St George's and the Nelson family.

Tearfund / PAG Uganda

St George's is supporting Tearfund in their partnership with the Ugandan Pentecostal Assemblies of God.  Ugandan communities are being helped by the local church to realise their potential for improving their own lives.  Tearfund provides a wonderful opportunity to discover just how the project is progressing through their regular 'See For Yourself' updates (www.seeforyourself.org/africa).

Alternatively you can join the conversation via the 'Connected Church facebook group': https://www.facebook.com/groups/118742968246680/

Please pray that more and more people at St George's will engage with and be inspired by the stories of people being helped by this project.  Please take time to go online and learn about how our support is helping these communities so that we can all be praying for them.  Please pray that as a church we will know how best to develop this partnership with Tearfund.
